The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Max Fortify Enchanting, Alchemy, Smithing

To be able to acquire the 100 percent increase strength in fortify alchemy, enchanting and smithing, together with the following items: Ahzidals armor set, Black Book: Sallow Regent and Notched Pickaxe, we are going to utilize the alchemy and enchanting loop. To make this possible we will provide guidelines for its process.

It will be brief and concise for easy understanding.

First thing first. At 100 ensure to acquire the Alchemy and Enchanting together with the installed perks listed below:

  • Alchemy perks: Alchemist (5), Physician (1), Benefactor(1)
  • Enchanting perks: Enchanter(5), Insightful Enchanter(1)
  • *(x)= Perks points needed

Second, go through the quest called Unearthed and get the Ahzidals set. In order to activate the  Ahzidals Genius that will provide a 10percent increase in Enchanting, there are four items to be needed. Remember that boots are essential also, ignore the rings as they are unnecessary.

Then, acquire the Black Book: Finish the mission of The Sallow Regent from White Ridge Barrow in Solstheim to be able to gain a reversible advantage of a 10 percent boost in one of the following category skills:

  • Seeker of Might (Combat skills)
  • Seeker of Sorcery (Magic skills)
  • Seeker of Shadows (Stealth skills)

Collect all the ingredients in Fortify Enchanting potion which are:

  • Blue Butterfly Wing (Easy to obtain)
  • Snowberries (Easy to obtain)
  • Spawn Ash (Easy to obtain)

As well as Spriggan Sap, Chaurus Hunter Antennae, Ancestor Moth Wing, Hagraven Claw.

Remember that we need to mix two ingredients to create a potion. Collect as many as possible to be able to have 15 potions minimum.

Obtain 6-7 minimum per unenchanted items such as Gloves, Head, Armor, Ring, Necklace. These items will be utilized to constantly upgrade our gear.

See to it that you already have items that possess the Fortify Alchemy enchantment in order for us to know the enchantment by disenchanting it.

In addition, obtain 30 minimum of either Grand soul gems or Black soul gems packed with grand souls that are required for enchanting.

Owning a Severin Manor house will be an advantage as it has an Alchemy and Enchanting table that will let you jump in and out of the Apocrypha the Black Book realm.

We can start as soon as we complete all the shopping list.

What Sorcery Is This?!

Get started by reading the Black Book Sallow Regent, do not forget to increase your  Magic skills (enchanting) by using Seeker of Sorcery boon. For you to get out, just read the book back. Start enchanting while weaponed by Ahzidal set:

Assemble the four items (Head, Armor, Ring, Necklace) to acquire a 28 percent increase in Alchemy in the first round.

Get into the book (by reading it), then increase your  Stealth skills (Alchemy) by using the Seeker of Shadows, leave the book and gear up the alchemy set after go to the alchemy table. Trade a Fortify Enchanting potion in order to gain a 35% enchanting potion.

You need to go inside the book again, at this time utilize the  Seeker of Sorcery boon, come out then go to the enchanting table while equipping the Ahzidal set, lastly drink the potion you created and trade the following gear set to Fortify Alchemy! As of the moment each alchemy item holds an increase of 39 percent in total.

In order to have 42 % in enchanting potion just do the following: first, take the  Seeker of Sorcery back into the book, come out after, then set up the new alchemy gear, lastly create a new potion.

To be able to obtain 42 % and 43 % increase in alchemy gear and potion respectively, just redo the procedure above.

Let’s have a recap, as of now we have 41% increase in Alchemy and 44% in Enchanting!

To avoid confusion we will simplify the procedure in the following:

  1. Create a set of gear to increase alchemy with Sorcery boon.
  2. Equipt Alchemy set with Shadow boon = Fortify Enchanting potion.
  3. Equipt Ahzidal set + Sorcery boon + drink potion = Fortify Alchemy set.
  4. Repeat 2 and 3.

Check the Active power tab to ensure you activate the correct boon and equipped with the correct gear.

We already reached the limit for the two fortify options based on my opinion. In case you have further info do not hesitate to share below.

Bear in mind that the result of fortification increases in each level of Smithing with a maximum of  100.

To be able to create a Fortify Smithing potion that grants an increase of 174% in smithing, just utilized 41% Alchemy gear together with Seeker of Shadows boon.

Utilize the potion to Fortify Enchanting by 44% together with the  Seeker of Sorcery boon that grants an increase in smithing on gear by 41%, it enables you to enchant the following set of items: Armor, Gloves, Ring and Necklace.

An extra 10 % will be added in all combat skills as well as smithing if you will utilize the boon Seeker of might.

An extra 5 points increase in smithing will be added if you equipped the Notched Pickaxe. It is located where Paarthurnax is, at the tip of the tallest mountain in Skyrim.

Additional Info

To make the procedure more quickly, create first the alchemy gear before creating the potion.

Remember that the impacts of potions last for 30 seconds, it will pause under some dialog boxes however monitor the enchantment results, you can also choose to quickly click and press buttons instead.

Through the Enchanting perk Extra Effect, we can choose from two enchanting alternatives.

OP gear can make the game less challenging, as it will enable you to hit the majority of enemies in one shot that can be fun for a little bit but lose its excitement easily. If you are currently using OP gear it is better if you have mods that will adjust the difficulty of the game.

Moreover, getting mods installed has its own risk, as it may change the process somehow. Unofficial Skyrim Patch is the only major mod that changes some mechanics of the game based on my experience. Nevertheless, the changelog shows that there is no adjustment that affects the process. In the end, we chose not to deactivate the mod list having 250+ mods because we’re afraid it may ruin something.
